Finally, more rambling.

So I finally decided to get my act together and update the blog. I just haven’t been spending very much extended time on the computer.  So on we go…

Rob’s office is closed down now and he’s based at home. He still most of his time at TI like before but his paperwork home is at time which we like. He also now gets to count all his mileage for tax purposes!! Woot! For the last three months, he’s been dealing w/ the most frustrating problem of his entire semiconductor-related career. It has been a pretty non-stop stressful grind that just doesn’t seem to let up so that’s been not too fun. He’s done a really good job working on dealing with it and not drowning in it too often but it’s hard to watch him feeling like that. It appears that the last problem is about to be resolved…hopefully. I’m glad that he still tells me he likes his job, even with this.

We’re enjoying life with the pup. Tennant has settled into our life quite nicely. We’ve had a few bumps along the way but they haven’t been too bad. Our biggest frustration is that we have a hard time getting him to eat pretty often, even when mixing canned food with the dry stuff. If anyone has any ideas, throw them this way. Last night, we left him in the kitchen while we were gone watching Terminator Salvation for the 2nd time. We came home to discover he had gotten into the pantry and that he is highly entertained by a roll of wax paper and all different sizes of Ziploc bags. Oy! If only I’d gotten a picture before we cleaned it all up. It’s the most destructive he’s been so we’re pretty okay with it overall. We definitely feel like we chose the right dog. He’s just the right kind of canine for our home…sleeps snuggled next to one of us most of the time with a couple of bouts of crazy playing sprinkled through the day. Good deal for us.

Kyrie participated in her first play a couple of weeks ago. It was with our homeschool group’s co-op. It was a play based on the American Girl stories.Kyrie had quite a large part with her bff so they had a swinging good time. Kyr did great and found that she really likes this kind of thing. What a ham!

We’ve been enjoying some movie time over these last few weeks. Got a kick out of Wolverine but had to go for a 2nd round on both Star Trek & Terminator Salvation. It almost makes up for Indiana Jones & the Crystal Skulls last summer. (If you liked that movie, please don’t tell me because I get a little over dramatic in expressing my strong opinions about it. It often involves spittle.)

I’ll try to keep up better so I can be more interesting. Off I go to see what everyone else interesting has written.

Take the dog and put him in the tardis or threaten him with a dalek. That'll straighten him out :)

Glad things are going well...don't worry about your dog eating...when we had ours, we were told to feed her 1 cup once a day. She did just fine.
