So we had a fun trip for the new year. The first weekend of January (yes, last weekend), we took a drive down to San Antonio to visit my sister's family and be there for her new baby's blessing. Rob's sister, Jay, her hubby, Matt, and super-cute baby, Vee, came with us. That was really fun. Vee was amazingly happy in the car which was a treat. We were all prepared to work around her and how much car time she could handle and she was just a dream. It probably helped that she could see Mom the whole time. We had fun stopping in West which is a little Czech town on the way down to SA. They have some great kolache shops and we were sure to avail ourselves of some. Dee-licious.
We had a fun stay-up-late first night and then a trip out to El Presidio la Bahia down in Goliad. That was a neat experience. Then we had Tabitha's blessing that evening at their house. It was very nice.
